SOME HAPPENINGS IN SEPTEMBER.....

Kelsi went to her 3 week appointment and weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. This week she goes for another check-up, so we'll see how much she has gained now!

Kelsi just chillin with her cousins! We're waiting for cousin Whitney to come visit so we can get a picture of all 4 girls.

Once again Parowan had its annual Iron County Fair. First, we headed to the little buck-a-roo rodeo where Avery, with the help of her dad, rode a sheep and also did the barrel racing. Of course, we had to go on a few rides at the carnival. My SIL was nice and took Avery on the Ferris Wheel and Johnny went on the Sizzler with her. I think it made him more sick then Avery. Then she hit some rides with her cousins. On Labor Day, we headed to the Parade. Avery's Great-Grandpa Alma was the Grand Marshal and she even let him ride Blacky.






One more trip in the mountains staying in our trailer, before it gets too cold! Cousins Ty & Sophia also joined us.



OH... so fresh and so clean, clean!!

Avery's already getting ready for Halloween! She wants me to lift her in the air while she rides with her broom.

Playing with her baby sis again!!

Avery went herding cows with her Dad! She loves riding horses and insists this is her horse Blacky, but really it's her Great-Grandpa Alma's!

SO SWEET!!

Avery just loves her baby sister!! She loves to hold her, kiss her, touch her nose, checks, head and even on occasion lick her cheek. Now that's the one I don't understand.

There's just something so sweet about a sleeping baby!!



Rachelle even gave me a little lesson on how to update my own blog and I still struggle to find the time or should I say make it a priority to get it updated. So playing catch up, Rachelle had her baby unexpectedly 3 weeks early on August 27th. So that makes Kelsi & Whitney exactly 2 weeks apart. How sweet....these two cousins already want to be next to each other and Big Brother Bridger and Big Sister Avery are tickled to have them.

Baby Kelsi

Baby Kelsi has finally arrived.....

after 3 weeks on bed rest from pre-clampsia and being induced 2 weeks early. I told the Dr. that I was also started with Avery on the 12th at 1:00 a.m. and didn't have her until the 13th at 5:13 a.m., so if he wanted to start me, he had to beat that record. Unfortunately this baby took longer, but fortunately everything turned out fine. When my body finally decided to go into labor it happened fast, so the epidural didn't start working until after Kelsi was born. I was started on Aug. 12th @ 1:00 a.m. and had Kelsi on August 13th at 12:02 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs 9 oz & was 18-1/2 inches. Were glad to be home and healthy. I was so surprised at how much lighter Kelsi's hair is then Avery's was when she was born.

Cowgirls Don't Cry...

Avery loves spending time with her dad. She is his little helper and loves being around horses.


This is at Johnny's brother's wedding a couple weeks ago where Avery is posing with her cousin Saydee. Avery is 3 weeks older!

Happy 4th.

We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. We spent most of the weekend in Horse Valley camping and enjoying the outdoors. Then we watched the fireworks in Parowan on Saturday. This picture is at the fireworks and my sister Rachelle is taking a free online class from Jessica Sprague and she didn't think using 'Sassy' for her boys was fitting. This sweet-sassy girl is getting closer to having a sister in August. I hope she is ready to share the spotlight!?!

Birthday

Avery had a great birthday. Her adopted (a.k.a. my sisters) mother-in-law made her a Dora cake. She got a trampoline for her birthday along with lots of other fun presents.





In other news, we found out that we will be having another girl. The doctor said 80% but it took him awhile to come to that conclusion. So if something changes, then we will go from there. But, it will be fun for Avery to have a sister to play with. I am about 25 weeks along....so only 15 to go.
